Kaori Izumiya
Kaori Izumiya was born and raised in Japan and currently based in Montréal, Canada.
With a background in oil painting at the Tokyo University of the Arts as well as experience in illustration and animation, Kaori is a constantly evolving artist whose style is influenced by her life experiences, travels, and reflects the many diverse experiences she has encountered on her journey. The various places she has called home have left an indelible impression on her work, and since leaving Japan, she has pondered the significance of her cultural heritage and how it is perceived in different parts of the world.
